It was 2 1/2 inches deeper on one side.
We emptied it (an entire day), tore it all down, dug the grass, leveled the dirt, put the whole thing back up, filled it back up (another entire day)......
Now it's only 1 1/2 inches difference.
Definitely worth it.
We still haven't even gotten the water bill from the first time filling it......wish us luck in our cardboard box on the side of the road.
I'm going to end the post now.....I think that would be the wise choice for the sake of this marriage.

a man will do anything for an inch won't he? this seems to top it off though and good luck with that water bill, i'll be waiting for your blog about it. i might have some spare kraft dinner for you if you need it!! :)

Ang, you have no idea how many people have made that 'what men will do for an inch' comment when i tell them the story!!! how true!
and we might just be begging on your door step in a few weeks -- KD would be gourmet! ;)
