He's going to ask for a glass of milk, right?
Asking Garnet to do a few small 'fix-ups' before the closing date......
.....is like giving a child a bag of candy and asking them to only have one.....
....and soon they'll have another.....
.....and another....
and before you know it -- the whole bag of candy is gone.
Or in this case a bathroom wall -- and every other room is prepped for paint.
No one can ever accuse my husband of being lazy - that's for sure.

haven't you done enough with that house? :) and why, please tell, is Garnet painting for the new owners? he certainly is not lazy he is VERY generous! sometimes our perfectionism gets the best of us, eh Garnet? i know, i know, i'm not one to talk!! jess, it's gonna look great and at least you don't have to worry about anything never getting done around your house! some wives would love to have a husband do anything, let alone what yours does! well then again...:)

i hope you know i'm kidding about that last comment!

oh yeah, totally ang -- he can take it!!
the reason he is painting for the new owners is that in the agreement - the buyers asked that the little projects that we had started in the last year be finished. so any visible drywall mud be painted. we color matched what we could -- and he just went a little overboard on the rest. yes he is generous -- but i'm left asking; why couldn't this all be done in a week for us....while we were still living here?!?!?!
men.....i don't try to understand them anymore ;)
he needed a deadline...
(from someone who works better with deadlines.) ;)
good point anonymous.
